Don't really know what to put here. The sounds that have inspired me over the years are ones that grabbed my attention the most. I'll list below some of the things to listen out for to find out what floats my sonic boat.

1. The sound of a TVR Cerbera accelerating hard.

2. The pick scrape at the beginning of Crazy Train on the Blizzard of Ozz Album.

3. The Intro to Rock 'n' Roll Rebel on the Bark at the Moon Live video and to be honest most of Jake E. Lee's playing.

4. (I may as well get my Ozzy stuff out in one go) Miracle Man.

5. The intro to "Walk" by Pantera.

6. Master of Puppets by Metallica.

7. Sweet Child of Mine - I love Slash's guitar sound.

8. Steve Vai's guitar sounds on Eat Em & Smile & The Ultra Zone.

9. Yngwie Malmsteen soloing on his neck pickup and then switching to the bridge pickup.

10. John Petrucci's "growl" on "Caught in a Web".

11. Steve Vai's reverse double string dive on "Viv Woman".

12. The solo in Satriani's "Ice Nine".

13. The pick squeal in "Let There Be Rock" by Onslaught.

14. John Sykes wobbly run in the Still of the Night solo.

15. Dave Murray's wobbly run just before the switch in Aces High.

16. Kevin Peek's tortured solo in Hotta (Sky).

17. The start of Allan Holdsworth's solo in Hells Bells.

18. Paul Gilbert's trademark lick in Street Lethal.

19. Vivian Campbell's dive bomb at the start of the solo in "We Rock".

20. The intro riff to "Modern Day Cowboy" by Tesla.
