These pics were taken by Louise Chaney. The first set are from our 2004 gig at the Concorde 2 in Brighton.

This was the only gig in 2004 where I used my Peavey Tracer.

I had a problem with the fine tuners on my Charvel's Floyd Rose during Panzer Division Destroyed. They'd reached the end of their travel and the strings were still slighlty flat. It was a hot gig and between the dressing room and the stage they'd de-tuned. A lesson to be learned!

I hadn't played my Peavey for a while and hadn't noticed that the bridge pickup had sunk a long way from the strings. I was having to thrash the living daylights out of it to get any power!

This was the my second tour with Budgie and I was using my new Marshall Stack.

Although I had both cabs set up, I only had the top one plugged in. I find that when the top one's going full belt, I can't hear the bottom one anyway! Also, plugging two cabs into one head changes the tone and you lose some of the chunky/punchy power.

I remember that old fan.... "Gentle Ben" it was called.

Although I tend to favour the Charvel over the Peavey - the Peavey still ROCKS!!

I Turned to Stone...

The next two pics, also taken by Lou were from our 2006 gig in Colchester at the Twist.

This was the hottest gig on the 2006 tour. My pedalboard got soaked with condensation between the stage door and putting it on the stage It was like a bloody sauna!
