I begin the main riff from "Scotch Mist" from my album "My World". At the Sweden Rock Festival in 2003 there were 20,000 people clapping along to this bit!

At the Sudden Social club in Rochdale most of the audience were seated. Swings and Roundabouts..........

This is near the start of the solo. So far I've stuck to the same solo for each gig. It's a fraction under 2 minutes long and has 5 sections:

1. Open string hammer-ons a la Jake E Lee followed by long run (which I'm just starting in this pic.).

2. Scotch Mist main riff with Steve on bass drum.

3. Sweeping section using 3 string D shape arpeggios linking into ......

4. Cheesy "Air on a G String" style 5 & 6 string sweeps.

5. Cool pentatonic tapping section finishing off with Steve Vai style octaves run ending in lots of feedback.

It's basically an extended version of a solo I used to play when I was in Tantrum and it gives Paul and Steve just enough time to re-arrange the kit for Whisky River.
