Simon won Guitarist Magazine's "Guitarist of the Year" competition in 1998 having been runner up in 1993, 1994 & 1995. During the 1990s this was Europe's most prestigious guitar players competition with the finals held at Wembley Exhibition Centre in London.

He is currently lead guitarist and co-front person with metal band Anubis and formerly played with Ozzy Osbourne tribute, Ozzmosis and Welsh classic rock legends Budgie.

Simon has produced two solo studio CDs featuring his own material along with the current Anubis album. He has also featured on original Judas Priest vocalist Al Atkins last two releases as well as Budgie's current studio album and four of Budgie's "Remastered" series.

He makes his living through his guitar and bass lessons and performs regularly in his famous One-Man-Rock-Show. He also teaches sound engineering in Cubase (including Cubase 7) and is a renowned expert and teacher in the use of guitar multi-effects processors, particularly the Boss GT range.

Simon's recording studio is equipped to handle any job from recording a basic demo to producing a commercial standard CD. Simon uses valve microphones to record vocals including an SE Gemini 2 and an AKG Solid Tube. The high quality recording interface is an RME Fireface 400. He can also re-master from Cassette, Vinyl, DAT and Mini-Disc.

Simon has DJ'd on European Klassik Rock radio, acted in the musical We Will Rock You and performed on prime-time National TV show Stars in Their Eyes. WIKIPEDIA
